When we rolled into downtown Dover for our Saturday afternoon pop-up, the line was already forming before we finished setting up. Locals had been tracking our Facebook posts all week, and by the time we cracked open the first batch of steamed crabs, the block smelled like Old Bay heaven.
We served over 60 seafood boils that day, each packed to order with snow crab clusters, corn, red potatoes, and andouille sausage. The prepared comfort meals sold out too — our fried chicken and homemade mac & cheese combo was gone by 3 PM.
What made this stop special was the community energy. Regulars brought their neighbors, kids waved from car windows, and folks stuck around to chat about the next scheduled visit.
